Pastor Darren Johnson
B I O G R A P H Y
Though
born in a foreign land, Pastor Darren Johnson is no stranger in this
land nor to the word of God. Sgt. Douglas and Madeline Johnson proudly
welcomed the oldest of their 2 children into the world in Banbury, England.
Perhaps that explains Pastor Johnson's global perspective on kingdom
building. The Johnson family was blessed with the addition of the former
Karla Haymon to the family when she became the proud wife of Darren
Johnson.
Pastor Johnson's academic resume includes a high school diploma from
Willingboro High School in Willingboro, New Jersey; a Bachelor of Science
degree in Biblical Studies from Philadelphia College of Bible; and Mastor
of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Philadelphia Biblical
University.
Naturally, Pastor Johnson's passion for education and desire to develop
young leaders lead him to teaching English to eager young minds at the
the World Communication Charter School in Philadelphia. It didn't stop
there, he also served as the Youth Pastor at Willingboro Christian Assembly
for over 4 years and involved himself in Apologetic Outreach to the
Nation of Islam. Pastor Johnson's thirst for spiritual growth and knowledge
led him to Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where
God blessed by positioning him to receive instruction and spiritual
insight from Dr. Reed, Sr. Today, Pastor Johnson serves as the Pastor
of Youth & Family Services.
Pastor Johnson will preach and teach the word of God as he is given
the opportunity.
