Pastor Victor O. Kirk
B I O G R A P H Y
Pastor Kirk is an associate pastor at the Sharon Baptist Church of Philadelphia,
PA, where Dr. Keith W. Reed is the senior pastor. He is serving as the
shepherd over the Preservation ministry. This ministry takes as its
foundation the concept of sewing up the nets. When the disciples caught
the fish after casting their nets, the scriptures tell us that there
was so many that the nets burst. Preservation ensures that those that
come into the fellowship remain in the fellowship. Preservation closes
the backdoor revival.
Preservation has under its banner the following ministries: Care Cell,
Follow-up and also incorporates the confirmation counselors.
Pastor Kirk is the former Senior Pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church
of Paoli, PA where he served in this capacity for 8 years. He is a former
youth Pastor of the Beulah Baptist church in Phila. He served as a board
member and young adult director of the Christian Campers Inc.
Pastor Kirk majored in accounting and computer science at Drexel University.
He received his biblical studies from The Phila. College of the Bible,
New Life Bible Institute, and received a certificate in Pastoral studies
from the Moody Bible Institute.
Pastor Kirk is on staff at Sharon in a part time capacity. He is also
employed at the IBM Corporation where he functions as a career development
manager. He is married to the former Vallie Floyd and they reside with
their three children in East Fallowfield Township, PA.
His life verse is Ephesians 2:8-10:
2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves,
it is the gift of God; it is not of works, so that no one can boast.
For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for
good works that God prepared beforehand so we may do them.
