Pastor K. Glenn Caines
B I O G R A P H Y
K. Glenn Caines was born and raised on the island of Bermuda. He is
the eldest son of Elder Kenneth and Matilda Caines. He was educated
at the Bermuda Technical Institute and awarded an apprenticeship with
the Bermuda Electric Company.
In April 1989, he joined in holy wedlock to the former Tina Evans of
Bermuda. They have four children: Kenneth, Donnee, Kassandra, and Arianna.
In 1990, both Pastor Caines and his wife rededicated their lives to
the Lord. As a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, he taught adult Sunday
School and participated in Biblical Counseling ministry and God's Mighty
Men.
In 1991, Pastor Caines' steps were ordered by the Lord to full-time
ministry. He served the Lord as Director of Prison Fellowship International.
Under his leadership, the ministry grew, thus providing over 70 volunteers
ministering to inmates, ex-inmates, and their families. Out of broadened
responsibility, Pastor Caines was licensed to preach the Gospel in December
1992.
To furthur educate and edify God's people, he has been privileged to
attend numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences in Seoul, South
Korea, Canada, the Bahamas, Barbados, and the United States.
Responding to a higher calling, in December 1995 Pastor Caines relocated
from Bermuda to Philadelphia to attend the Philadelphia College of Bible
in the Pastoral Studies program.
Now as a part-time student, he currently serves the Lord as the Pastor
of Christian Education at the Sharon Baptist Church, where Rev. Dr.
Keith W. Reed, Sr. is the Senior Pastor / Teacher.
