Pastor Reggie Johnson
B I O G R A P H Y
Pastor Johnson was born in Philadelphia on February 16, 1950. He is
the eldest of 6 children. Pastor Johnson, a veteran of the United States
Air Force, is married to Sharon Marie Johnson, has one daughter, Tiffini,
and has one grandson, Justen.
He is a Bell of Pennsylvania retiree. At Bell of Pennsylvania, he was
an analyst in the engineering department - special services circuit
design. At his former place of employment, he conducted noontime Bible
studies. Those studies were well attended, and pastors from Philadelphia
and New Jersey participated.
Pastor Johnson was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System,
where he attended W.C. Bryant Elementary, W.L. Sayre Jr. High, and West
Phila. High School. He went on to Pierce Junior College where he received
an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts, majoring in sociology. He later
attended LaSalle University where he completed several courses in marketing,
and he attended Eastern College where he received his Bachelor's Degree
in Organizational Management. Pastor Johnson has completed several courses
in Old & New Testament Biblical studies at Philadelphia College
of Bible and has plans to attend a Seminary to acquire his Master's
Degree in New Testament Theology.
Pastor Johnson was born-again in August 1980 and was a member of The
Church of God until he and wife were drawn to Sharon Baptist Church
in 1983. From 1985 until 1990, he served as a Steward (Trustee), and
in 1991 he was appointed by Pastor Reed to the position of Church Administrator.
In addition to the Church Administrator position, Pastor Johnson teaches
new members class, is one of the instructors at the Sharon Baptist Bible
Institute, provides counseling, oversees several ministries at the Sharon
Baptist Church, and will preach whenever the door is opened by "GOD".
Pastor Johnson's goal is to know the will of God while accepting God's
daily agenda for his life. Acts 1:8 is his platform. When asked what
his life's verse is, he will tell you, "Though I don't have a life
verse, I have life because of the verse.
